The short version
Strics.AI is run by Strics, a design studio. We collect what we need to give you an account and run the tools, and nothing more. We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use analytics or tracking.
What we collect and why
| Data | Examples | Why we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Account details | Your name, email address and password (stored hashed by Supabase, never readable by us). | To create your account, sign you in and send account emails such as confirmation and password reset. |
| What you make | Briefs and prompts, generated images, text layer designs, saved pose studio scenes and exports. | To run the tools and keep your history, so you can reopen, reproduce and iterate on past work. With a public profile, your generated thumbnails also show in Community (see below). |
| Images you upload | Reference images, cutouts and creator face photos, with the permission confirmation you give for faces. | To use them as references in your generations and edits, and to record that you had permission. |
| Your clients, jobs and invoices | Client names, channel links, contact and billing details (address, tax ID), each job's brief, dates and price, your invoices, and the business and payment details you print on them. | To run the Client CRM, so you can track your work, make invoices and see what's been paid. Only your account can see them. |
| Technical data | IP address, browser type and request logs kept by our hosting and sign-in providers. | To keep the service secure and working, and to investigate errors and abuse. |
Settings like your Generator draft and sidebar state are kept in your own browser, not on our servers. The cookie policy lists them.
Our legal basis
- Providing the service (the contract between us): your account, what you make and the images you upload.
- Legitimate interests: technical data used to keep the service secure and reliable.
- Legal obligations: where we must keep or share data by law, for example for accounting once paid plans launch.
Faces of other people
Creator faces lets you upload photos of the people who appear in your thumbnails. Before you upload, you confirm that the person is your client and has given permission to use their likeness, and we store that confirmation with the upload. For those photos, you decide how they are used and we process them on your behalf. Please only upload faces you have permission to use, and delete them when you no longer need them.
The same goes for client details you add to the Client CRM: you decide what to store about your clients, and we keep it on your behalf. Only add contact details your clients are happy for you to keep.
Community and your public profile
Community is a public page where anyone, signed in or not, can see thumbnails people made with Strics.AI. Profiles are public by default: each thumbnail you generate shows there with the words you typed for it (your title and description), the style and model you picked, and your display name and profile picture. Others can like it, download it and reuse your words for their own generation. Your email address is never shown, and neither are the images you upload as references.
You can make your profile private at any time on your Account page. Your thumbnails then leave Community straight away and only you can see your work. If your thumbnails show clients or other people, or are made for client work that isn't public yet, make your profile private before you generate them. We may also remove any post from Community.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that run parts of Strics.AI for us, and only what each one needs. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Accounts and sign-in: stores your name, email and hashed password, and sends account emails. |
| Google (Gemini API) | Image generation: receives the prompt and any reference images for a generation, and returns the images. |
| Kie AI | Image generation, upscaling and Strics Score: receives the prompt and any reference images (or the image you upscale or have scored), and returns the result. Images sent to it are held in its temporary storage and deleted after 24 hours. |
| Poof | Background removal: receives the image you're cutting out, and returns the cutout. |
| Our hosting provider | Runs the site and stores your data and uploads. |
Some of these providers process data outside the EU and EEA, for example in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Account details: for as long as you have an account.
- Generations: until you delete them or close your account. A generation you delete disappears for you straight away, but we keep it for 30 days, visible only to our admins (for support, and to look into misuse), then remove it for good.
- Designs, scenes and uploads: until you delete them or close your account.
- Technical logs: for a short period set by our hosting and sign-in providers.
When you close your account, we delete your account details and your work, except anything we must keep by law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your data or close your account
- limit or object to how we use it
- send your data to you or another service in a portable format
To use any of these rights, contact us as described below and we'll reply within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Connections to Strics.AI are encrypted, passwords are hashed by our sign-in provider, and the app and its data are only available to signed-in accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we'll tell you without undue delay if a breach affects your data.
Children
Strics.AI is a professional tool and isn't meant for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes and contact
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and its date, and tell account holders about significant changes by email. For questions or requests about your data, use the contact page or email imranstrics@gmail.com.
