Terms and conditions

The short version

Strics.AI is run by Strics, a design studio. These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Strics.AI. By creating an account, buying a plan or credits, or using the tools, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Strics.AI.

• You own what you make, and you're responsible for what you upload and generate.
• Only upload faces and images you have the right to use.
• Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. Payments are final and aren't refunded.
• Free comes with 50 credits once; credits from a plan reset each billing month; credits from a top-up pack never expire.

Your account

You need an account to use the tools. Give us accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. You're responsible for everything done with it. Strics.AI is a professional tool: you must be at least 16 to use it, and if you use it for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

Plans and credits

Free gives you the design tools: the pose studio, the Compositor, feed preview and the Client CRM. The paid plans (Creator, Pro and Studio) add the AI tools and a monthly allowance of credits. The tools that use credits show what something costs before you run it, and the pricing page lists the plans, the credit costs and the top-up packs.

• Every new account gets 50 free credits, once, to try the AI tools. They're never refilled: once they're used, they're gone.
• A plan's credits are added at the start of each billing month and reset at the next one: unused plan credits don't carry over.
• Credits from a top-up pack never expire and are used after your plan's credits.
• Anything that fails, or that you cancel while it's still running, gives its credits back automatically.
• Credits have no cash value. They can't be exchanged for money, transferred to another account or sold.
• If your account is closed, any credits left on it are lost.

Payments, renewal and cancelling

Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT; where VAT applies, it's added at checkout. A paid plan is a monthly subscription: it renews automatically each month, and you're charged at the start of each billing month until you cancel.

• You can cancel at any time from your account. Your plan then stays active until the end of the month you've paid for, and isn't renewed.
• If you upgrade, the new plan and its credits apply straight away. If you downgrade, the change applies from your next billing month.
• If a payment fails, we may pause the paid features until it goes through.
• We may change our prices. A new price applies from your next billing month after we've told you, and you can cancel before then.

No refunds

All payments are final. Plans and credits are digital services that we provide the moment you pay: your plan's features and credits, or a top-up pack's credits, are on your account straight away. When you buy, you ask us to start providing them immediately, and you agree that you therefore lose any right to withdraw from the purchase and get your money back, including the 14-day right of withdrawal that EU consumer law otherwise gives for purchases made online.

We don't refund unused credits, part-used billing months, or plans you forgot to cancel. If you're charged by mistake, for example twice for the same thing, tell us and we'll put it right.

What you make

You own the thumbnails, designs and other work you make with Strics.AI, and what you upload stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and show it only as far as we need to run the service for you: for example to generate images from your references, keep your history, and show your thumbnails in Community while your profile is public.

Images made with AI may look like other images, and the same prompt can give someone else a similar result, so we can't promise that what you generate is unique or that you can register it as your own. Check anything important before you publish it. Generated images are made by third-party AI models, and we don't guarantee any particular result.

Faces, clients and other people

You're responsible for having the right to use every image you upload and every person who appears in your work. When you add a face to Creator faces, you confirm that the person is your client and has given you permission to use their likeness, and we record that confirmation. Only add client details to the Client CRM that your clients are happy for you to keep. The privacy policy explains how we handle this data.

Community

Profiles are public by default, so the thumbnails you generate show in Community with the words you typed for them. Others can like and download them and reuse your words for their own generations. You can make your profile private at any time on your Account page. We may remove any post from Community.

Fair use

Don't use Strics.AI to make, upload or share:

• images of a real person without their permission, or that put them in a false, sexual or degrading light
• sexual content involving anyone under 18, or any sexual content of real people
• content that's illegal, hateful, harassing or violent, or that deceives people, such as fake news or scams
• work that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights

Also don't try to get around the credit system or usage limits, share or resell your account, scrape or copy the service, overload it, or break into parts of it you aren't meant to reach. The AI providers we use have their own content rules, and requests that break them may be refused.

Suspending or closing accounts

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, misuses the service, or puts other people at risk. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account because you broke these terms, we don't refund any payments or credits.

The service

We work to keep Strics.AI running well, but it's provided as it is and as available: there may be interruptions, errors or maintenance, and AI providers can be slow or unavailable. We may add, change or remove tools, models and features over time. If we stop offering a paid plan altogether, we'll tell you in advance.

Keep your own copies of work that matters to you. Download the images and files you need: we don't guarantee that anything stored in Strics.AI will be kept forever.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost clients, lost data or lost views, and our total liability to you for anything to do with Strics.AI is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You're responsible for what you make and upload. If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or generated, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Strics.AI changes. We'll update this page and its date, and tell account holders about significant changes by email before they take effect. If you keep using Strics.AI after that, you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can cancel and close your account.

Law and contact
